Maxiware Launches South Africa's First Real Article Directory
Johannesburg, Gauteng (PRWEB) August 1, 2007 -- Local web development company, Maxiware, has just launched the first South African Article Directory at www.freearticles.co.za. It is reported to being the first of its type with many earlier attempts by other companies failing to provide quality content to web site visitors.
Free Articles is an online service which caters for the online researcher as well as casual internet surfers, providing free quality articles and content on over 363 different subjects.

When asked why the service is offered for free, De Sousa replies, "A lot of South African publishers assume that a free site is a poor site. What they forget is that, with targeted and attractive advertising, you can make a lot of money while providing a useful service to your visitors."
The site's advertising is surprisingly unintrusive and attractive. Each ad appears to be targeted to the article currently being displayed so web site visitors only see ads relevant to their research.
The web site's "mini tag cloud" immediately gives you an idea of some of the more popular research categories while a quick click to see the full list quickly shows which categories have the best articles and where to begin one's research.
De Sousa is confident that the site will grow from strength to strength but he urges small businesses to take the initiative and write some articles on their area of expertise. Doing this, he suggests, will help any small business position itself as an expert in its field among potential clients.
